Adam Higgins

Adam Higgins is a tech savvy serial entrepreneur, having spent the last 18 years of his life launching and growing a variety of new businesses. He was born in Texas, but grew up in Wareham, eventually getting his bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Vermont.

After 10 years of entrepreneurial adventures in the Carolinas, where Adam focused on the real estate and entertainment industries, he chose to return home to New England, and specifically Mashpee. Not only was Massachusetts home for Adam, but it also offered two major traits he was looking for: a growing tech industry with legal cannabis on the horizon.

Mashpee was where he went in the summer, but having grown up on the gateway, he soon fell in permanent love. Adam also soon realized that legal cannabis on Cape Cod was in jeopardy, and thus co-founded an organization ‘Regulate Cape Cod’ to advocate for the creation of smart & safe zoning to foster the growth of the new industry, not ban it.

This organization became quite good at blocking zoning bans, and helping towns adopt pro-cannabis bi-laws and ordinances. Through these advocacy efforts, the opportunity to co-found Seaside Cannabis Company materialized, and Adam seized it, in hopes of writing the next chapter of his business adventure story. Currently, Mr. Higgins works on this dream from his home in East Sandwich, with his wife and 3 boys.
